He designed and created a well conceived, highly personal and one-of-a-kind kitchen, and it’s been noticed. The Rachel Ray Show and Better Homes and Gardens has featured it; not once, but twice.

If you just so happen to pick up Better Home and Garden’s special publication “Beautiful Kitchens” you will see Michael’s masterpiece; a dramatic double coffered ceiling, tall transom windows, a wood burning pizza oven and woodwork elements handcrafted by Michael himself. When the oven is in full force you can close your eyes and swear you stepped into a country home in Tuscany, Italy. It’s paradise for the Yedowitz family that once took a cooking class in the rolling hills of Lucca, Italy. The kitchen was most recently featured in early May again by BHG.com for being one of the nation’s top 30 ultimate kitchens.

The Rachel Ray Show also featured the family’s kitchen recently, creating a moment of speechlessness for host Kristan Cunningham. The show featured Michael’s dream kitchen as being “America’s Coolest Kitchen”, they focused on his personalized and affordable ideas, including the backsplash made from wine corks he and his wife saved over the years, the pizza oven built from a kit and the architectural millwork Michael crafted himself.
